Getting out the Union Vote in the Carolinas
By: Will Davis Union leaders from Freightliner Truck Manufacturing Plants in North and South Carolina and Charlotte Labor Council members are encouraging the “Get out the Union Vote” during the weeks leading up to election day Organizers have distributed information on registration, early voter poll locations and encouraged voters to support candidates that support labor issues in surrounding counties and Nationally. Asssisted by members from all of the Freightliner plants and The Charlotte Labor Council , the organizations handbilled Freightliner TMP Mt Holly, NC, Freightliner PMP Gastonia, NC , Freightliner TMP Cleveland, NC, Thomas Built Bus Highpoint, NC ,US Air Charlotte, NC ,Firestone Kings Mtn NC , CWA Charlotte,NC, Airport Employees Charlotte NC
